RAZVOJNA BANKA VOJVODINE akcionarsko društvo Novi Sad (THE DEVELOPMENT BANK OF VOJVODINA joint-stock company Novi Sad), which is the Bank’s full business name as of 17, May 2010, was founded under the name METAL-BANKA a.d. Novi Sad in 1990. After the takeover of DTD BANKA in 2001 and DDOR BANKA in 2005, the Bank increased its participation on the banking market in Serbia. 

The liquidity crisis, which encompassed the financial department, did not exclude METALS-BANKA either. Business stabilisation came with the Decision of the Assembly of Shareholders of the Bank in July 2009, which meant successful realisation of the 25th emission of ordinary shares. By increasing the Bank’s capital, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina became the majority owner with 61.9% of shares.

RAZVOJNA BANKA VOJVODINE is registered for doing with all kinds of foreign currency operations, including foreign payments – i.e., the Bank has got “large authorisation”. International payment of the Bank is done via 140 correspondent banks. The Bank performs the following activities: deposit operations, loan operations, foreign exchange, foreign exchange currency transactions and exchange operations, securities issuance, cards issuance, depots, buying and selling securities, guarantees operations, payment operations, mediating and trading in securities, enforcement of claims, broker-dealer operations and other financial services.

RAZVOJNA BANKA VOJVODINE is an authorised agent in mediation of selling insurance policies, which is realised in the conditions of strategic co-operation with DDOR Novi Sad a.d.o. In November 2007, the Bank obtained a licence for custody operations.

By joining the potential with the funds whose founder is the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, which was preceded by the execution of the agreement with the Fund of Development and the Guarantee Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, RAZVOJNA BANKA VOJVODINE met all the prerequisites for securing important financial incentive to the projects which are important for the development of the Province.
